Windows is not actively supported at the moment. The installer is available but you may encounter issues. Upvote this issue if you'd like Windows support prioritized.

Install

Download the installer for your platform and run it. No admin privileges required on macOS.

Add folders

Point Vireo at one or more folders of wildlife photos. It reads your files in place — nothing is moved or copied.

Scan & classify

Vireo downloads the AI model on first launch, then scans and classifies your photos locally.

Browse predictions, cull rejects, assign keywords, and export XMP sidecars — all from one interface.
